Conditions of Loan

• A small scaleable charge is made for loans to affiliated groups, other non-profit making groups and corporate groups pay a higher charge.
• Groups must return all equipment in good and clean order.
• Hirers inform the BPA of any damage/breakage/loss that has occurred whilst in their possession.
• Each item is supplied with a check list of contents. Any missing items must be reported as soon as possible after collection.
• Some equipment is accompanied by instructions for safe use. These must be read and followed by all users.
• Equipment must be collected and returned by prior arrangement, unless a designated time is set.

BPA reserve the right to seek recompense for any cleaning or repair costs incurred by the hirer.

BPA reserve the right to cancel any loan equipment arrangement due to faulty equipment.

A member from each group should receive adequate training for competent use of specialist craft kit. Equipment will not be lent/hired to groups who have not received this training.

It is the group’s responsibility to provide a trained representative to ensure the safe use of the equipment during the playscheme.

Each piece of equipment will be loaned / hired and accompanied by extensive instructions on the use of such equipment, together with details of supervision points and staffing requirements. 

These must be carried out in full please consider carefully where they will be used.

A loan and maintenance record log accompanying the working instructions will be completed on collection and return of all equipment loan/hired to ensure that:-

1)                  the equipment is complete and no essential parts are missing;

2)                 a visual check is made to note damage/breakage/loss.

3)                 hirers inform the Association of any damage/breakage/loss that has occurred whilst in their possession.
